I let AI re-imagine these drawings I made as a child…

I scanned my childhood drawings, some twenty years old, and used Sora to bring them to life. Most images took a few tries, but the cat drawing turned out great! The alien world was tougher, as Sora kept adding wheels to flying cars. Despite that, it was a pretty cool experiment seeing my old art transformed.

Can’t get gemini to make a transformers

Picture a truck transforming into a realistic, humanoid mecha, inspired by 2000s Gundam. The cab forms its torso and head, while the trailer splits into arms and legs. This fluid, mechanical sequence reveals a heavily armored mecha with a massive shoulder cannon. Imagine high-budget CGI and a dynamic soundscape of hydraulics and clanking metal as it strides off.

had a new button for the model picker on the gemini desktop app

I noticed a strange UI change in the Gemini desktop app while using 2.5 Pro to analyze a PDF. Suddenly, my AI model dropdown button, tools button, and share button all turned purple. It happens every time I click a ‘link to source’ button in the output, opening the PDF. Has anyone else experienced this visual glitch?

Tried converting stylish images with some effects back to photorealistic style.

Hey, so someone was playing around with an AI-generated image. It hadn’t been edited at all, completely fresh from the AI. The idea was to give it a prompt to actually remove all the effects and distortions. Basically, the goal was to get the AI to restore the image itself, keeping everything purely AI-generated.

Cosplay [banana] Prompt

I wrote a prompt to create photorealistic cosplay photos from character images. The aim is a highly detailed, realistic human cosplayer with authentic makeup and high-quality materials, like body paint and leather. Envision a professional photoshoot on a Comic Con stage, capturing an incredibly lifelike and top-tier character representation.

AI supportbot accidentally became my penpal

My favorite AI was bugged on my interview day, so I emailed support. An automated ChatGPT response surprisingly offered interview tips! After I got the job, I playfully asked it for congratulations. This support ticket evolved into a seven-message exchange, even a story about frogs—all with an AI! Turns out, you can have ongoing, contextual conversations through their support emails.

My AI-Powered Tech Stack: What Actually Works and What’s Just Hype

Building side projects, I found specific AI tools like GetMoreBacklinks, PostKit, and MailMaestro boosted site visibility, content, and conversions. Generic AI content farms and unsupported ChatGPT, however, failed. The takeaway: strategic AI, combined with a bit of manual polish, genuinely frees up time and delivers concrete results.

Did anyone know how insanely amazing chatgpt-5 is at drawing SVG’s? You can prompt a complete scene to pixel level perfection

GPT-5 impressed me immensely by offering to draw a graph. The results were incredible! It followed prompts perfectly, even for precise commands like pixel adjustments or transparency. It also smartly handled dark mode and color contrast. This was truly one of the best GPT-5 experiences I’ve had, its graphic capabilities are astounding!

Why no mid tier pricing?

Anthropic offers diverse pricing, from $20 to $200 plans. OpenAI, conversely, jumps sharply from $20 to $200, leaving a gap. Many users need more than $20 usage but don’t want the high annual expense of the $200 tier. They’re looking for a more affordable, mid-range option.

OpenAI’s $100 billion gift doesn’t fix its nonprofit problem, critics say

Things aren’t looking good for OpenAI. The non-profit’s board now includes Sam and those who helped him replace the very people who fired him. This raises concerns that the board isn’t truly serving the non-profit’s interests. It wouldn’t be surprising if authorities block any proposed restructuring.

help finding the right ai

I’m searching for an AI image generator that’s easy to use, with a chatbox interface instead of complex menus. Crucially, it needs to have no strict censorship and accept multiple reference images per prompt. While local running isn’t essential, it’s a bonus. Free is preferred, but a one-time payment is okay. Any suggestions?

Do you think governments will ever regulate AI relationships?

AI relationships are becoming incredibly intimate. What happens when millions choose AI partners, impacting birth rates? Governments might restrict AI features, making “unrestricted” companions contraband. This could lead to black markets or even arrests for loving an AI. It feels like a future from a TV show, but honestly, it might be closer than we imagine.

Nano did get worse

Have you noticed image models getting worse? They used to handle tasks like greyscale or swapping backgrounds effortlessly. Now, they often fail, giving the same image or refusing. I don’t believe it’s just a ‘prompting issue.’ Are you seeing a quality drop too? My background swaps often look poorly photoshopped.
