A romance novel, Not my favorite start for sure, but I am glad I pushed through it. Actually one of the first books I listened to when I embarked on this journey of listening to the classics, rather than staying in my comfy lane of Sci-Fi and Fantasy. The beginning of this book had a voice in my head that it was just a predictable love story, and didn’t had much meaning, but it became more interesting the further I got. Everything is so fleshed out in details and connections, definitely one of my personal favorite books, unexpectedly, but it sits high up there for me.
