As with most of the books I listen to, when I was listening to this book, I was running parts on a CNC machine with an earbud in. I rather enjoyed this one. The story is really good, but it did not stand out for me. Of course when the book originally came out, it was quite original, but now, even though it can be found at the root of many that came after, it was predictable. I really did enjoy it though, and it made the day go by quite fast. For a scifi/fantasy geek such as myself, I’d definitely recommend this one.
